A Name to Look Into for Syracuse AD Search

Bryan Blair is a name to know in the search for the next Syracuse University Director of Athletics.

Blair is currently the Vice President and Director of Athletics at the University of Toledo.

He worked with the NCAA from 2010-11 as an Academic and Membership Affairs Pistgraduate Intern before becoming the Compliance Coordinator at Rice University from 2011-12.

From there, Blair went to the east coast to serve as the Assistant Director of Compliance Services at the University of South Carolina from 2012-14 and then back to Houston, Texas, returning to Rice University from 2014-18 to serve in the role of Senior Associate Athletic Director.

Blair also has experience on the west coast to go with his midwest and east coast ties, thanks to time spent as Deputy Athletic Director/COO at Washington State University from 2018-22 before heading to Toledo in 2022 to the present.

Aiding in understanding the life of a student-athlete, he was a student-athlete himself, playing football at Wofford College from 2003-06.
